Without our volunteers we would be unable to offer the world class training and certifications we are known for.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Rewarding our Volunteers<\/strong><br \/>\nAs an IACIS volunteer you will be at the forefront of our world class training and certifications. From coaching candidates undertaking their CFCE Certification to developing blocks of instruction for our BCFE training event, you will gain knowledge and experience while giving back to the forensic community.<br \/>\nIACIS also rewards our volunteers in a number of ways. This year our IACIS volunteers have received:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Free online training and certification<\/li>\n<li>Waived annual dues<\/li>\n<li>Entry into 2 drawings for flights, hotel, and Mobile Device training in Orlando<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our CFCE Peer Review Coaches receive 10 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit hours per problem coached towards their recertification requirements.\u00a0 Coaching one student in one cycle can provide the full 40 CPE hours required for CFCE recertification.<\/p>\n<table class=\" aligncenter\" border=\"0\" width=\"100%\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"50%\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/41hSDVIgQWw\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong><br \/>\nVolunteer Positions:<\/strong><br \/>\nBelow are just a few of the positions open to IACIS volunteers. Some positions require the volunteer hold the CFCE certification.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Peer Review Coach<\/strong><br \/>\nGuide and assist candidates through the CFCE Peer Review phase. This is one of our most rewarding positions. Coaches work one on one with candidates as they undertake the CFCE Certification. Candidates range from experienced examiners to those new to the forensics field.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Problem Development<\/strong><br \/>\nThis position creates and maintains the problem set utilized in IACIS certification and recertification exams. From developing general knowledge questions to full forensic image sets, you will assist in keeping the IACIS certifications on the current edge of forensic methodologies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>IACIS Trainer<\/strong><br \/>\nAre you a skilled public speaker? Can you explain complex forensic topics in an understandable and relatable way? IACIS provides training all over the world, requiring training staff located all over the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Training Material Updates<br \/>\n<\/strong>Our training committee are continually updating the manuals and practical exercises to ensure the content is current and relevant to the need of the forensic community.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Standards<br \/>\n<\/strong>Our Standards committee is responsible for quality assurance of our training and certification materials as well auditing our processes and policies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Volunteer Management<br \/>\n<\/strong>Our volunteer management team are responsible for ensuring that our volunteers are placed in roles that match their skill set and passion.\u00a0 We keep track of about 500 volunteers at any given time to ensure that they are receiving the support and benefits they deserve.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are in volunteering, please email <a href=\"mailto:volunteering@iacis.com\"><strong>volunteering@iacis.com<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>to get started.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Volunteers are the backbone of IACIS. \u00a0Every Training event and Certification that IACIS offers is developed, maintained and run by volunteers.
