After 23 years of serving in various roles as a police officer, Craig transitioned into digital forensics for his agency.\u00a0 Having no prior experience in that field, Craig found the CFCE process a rigorous one that required him to spend many hours of studying.\u00a0 It was in the days before Moodle, and it took him about 160 hours to complete.\u00a0 Craig was grateful for having a patient peer review coach, who moved on to be the Regional Manager for Craig\u2019s area and encouraged Craig to become a coach.\u00a0 Craig could not say no.\u00a0 He wanted to repay the effort that his own coach had given him.\u00a0 Craig has contributed in many ways to IACIS, including developing material for the Hashing and Intro to Forensics Analysis blocks for BCFE.<\/p>\n
Craig is now retired after serving 30 years as a police officer in Scotland.\u00a0 He lives in a coastal town east of Edinburgh and fills his days with running, reading, films, cooking, and brewing beer.\u00a0 He believes life would not be worth living if he did not have pizza on a regular basis.\u00a0 Craig has never been a fan of cricket and feels that people overuse the word \u201cawesome\u201d when, at the very most, \u201cgreat\u201d would suffice.<\/p>\n
