Volunteer since 2000 in the areas of Certification, Training, and on the Board of Directors.<\/p>\n
In 2000, Dan attended the BCFE course and could not have been more impressed with the passion and dedication of the volunteers.\u00a0 He was equally inspired by his coach during the CFCE certification process.\u00a0 In November of 2000, after achieving his CFCE, he immediately started to volunteer for the organization.\u00a0 The purpose and mission of IACIS was enough for him to have a desire to volunteer, but more importantly, it was the people of IACIS that made volunteering fulfilling and enjoyable.\u00a0 This is why he is a proud member of 20+ years.<\/p>\n
Dan is a Chief at the Seminole County Sheriff\u2019s Office and teaches for the University of Central Florida\u2019s Master of Science in Digital Forensics program.\u00a0\u00a0 As a Floridian, he enjoys his time with his wife and kids boating along the local rivers and saltwater sanctuaries of the coasts.\u00a0 He and his son are avid fishermen and spend a lot of time saltwater fishing, mainly on the east coast.\u00a0 For 35 years, he has been playing drums and percussion instruments.\u00a0 Currently, he plays drums at his church during worship services.<\/p>\n
