The IACIS Advanced Mobile Device Forensics course is a 36-hour program delivered over five consecutive days. It\u2019s built for experienced forensic examiners and investigators looking to expand their skills in analyzing modern mobile devices.<\/p>\n

This course takes a deep dive into both Android and iOS systems, focusing on the data structures and storage formats that commercial tools often overlook\u2014like protobufs, app-specific databases, and custom data stores. You\u2019ll also explore Android malware investigations and learn how to identify and analyze malicious behavior.<\/p>\n

Students will learn how to use Python scripting to extract and process forensic artifacts. You’ll develop the skills to automate tasks, write your own tools, and better understand how scripting can strengthen your investigations.\n<\/p>\n

Rather than relying solely on out-of-the-box tools, this course emphasizes understanding the raw data behind the apps and operating systems. You\u2019ll pair commercial tools with open-source solutions and learn how to validate findings through hands-on work.<\/p>\n

Completion of the MDF course is recommended; however, it\u2019s not required to attend this advanced class.<\/p>\n

Prerequisites:<\/strong>The MDF course provides baseline competencies to prepare students for the Advanced MDF course, but is not required.\u202f<\/p>\n

WHEN<\/u>:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0April 27 \u2013 May 1, 2026 (Week 1) OR May 4 – 8, 2026 (Week 2)<\/strong><\/p>\n

COST<\/u>: $2,695.00 US Dollars <\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Classes begin at 8:00 AM ET and conclude at 5:00 PM ET each day, with a one-hour lunch break. Classes will end at 4:00 PM ET on the last day of class. Please do not arrange for departing flights prior to 7:00 PM ET to allow time for travel to the airport and any security clearances.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. The dress code for the conference is business casual (collared shirts and slacks). <\/strong>The wearing of shorts, flip-flops, tank tops, etc., is not allowed in the classroom. Personal computers are not permitted in the classroom. <\/strong>Students are required to attend all classes to successfully complete the program. Students who fail to meet the attendance requirements will not be issued a certificate at the conclusion of the program.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \nThe course will be taught at the <\/span>    Caribe Royale Orlando<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>8101 World Center Drive, Orlando, Florida 32821 (USA).<\/span><\/b>\u202f This hotel is 16 miles from the Orlando International Airport, it has a large pool, spacious workout facility and is close to Disney World and Universal Studios.<\/span>Book via the Caribe Royale Orlando site .<\/span> Hotel booking will open once classes have been opened for registration.<\/span>\u00a0<\/b><\/span>If you choose to stay at a different hotel and commute to the conference, you may be subject to parking fees per conference center policy.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
